It is an honour to be chosen as a leader of Hoërskool Generaal Hertzog. I aim to be a worthy leader as my commitment is to uphold the school’s code of conduct at all times. I acknowledge that leadership means to serve others and respecting those who are placed in my charge. The main goal is to serve others with humility and dedication. I acknowledge that true leadership is not about wielding power, but about empowering those around me.

I pledge to act with integrity in all my actions and decisions. I will honour my school, my family and myself as I strive to lead by example with fairness and empathy. Trust is the foundation of any successful team, therefore I strive to earn and maintain it through honesty and transparency.

Perseverance is essential in navigating challenges, and I am dedicated to facing obstacles with resilience and determination. I aim to support my fellow leaders, recognizing their strengths and fostering an environment where each member can thrive. My core values will guide the way as I show grace to those around me.
